Bouldering at Coney Glen

Picture
Ok, so you thought there were no rock climbing to be done in Knysna? Think again!

Coney Glen isn't known as a rock climbing destination, there aren't any bolted routes or established trad routes but it is a great spot for bouldering. No need for equipment or lots of time, grab your shoes and some chalk and you're ready. Situated right at the sea, Coney Glen offers some spectacular views of The Heads and the sea, equally as exciting for the non-climber.

Stats: No ratings, you can make it as hard as you want it to be.

Directions: From the N2 going through Knysna turn into George Rex drive at the VW/Caltex garage. Follow George Rex drive towards The Heads. Once near the heads, take Coney Drive and follow it to Coney Glen. The rocks are situated on the beach.

Other: Take some water down to the rocks. There are braai facilities as well.
